What’s cooking in April?
This month we held a wee tasting event at Thrussington Village Store and Tea Rooms. We invited our awesome brides and grooms to come along, enjoy the food and see team Thomas in action.
If you follow us you’ll know that we usually hold a couple of large tasting events each year where we take over a venue or tipi and showcase some of our amazing industry friends with gorgeous styling, fabulous cocktails and cool entertainment. We love these events, they always work really well but this time we did things a little differently.
We held the event in Thrussington Village Store and Tea Rooms and made it all about the food and our lovely couples. It was much more chilled and intimate but went down a storm. Over 50 brides and grooms attended and fed back that they loved chatting to other couples, meeting the team again and of course, most importantly sampling lots of awesome food.
Events like this are so important as couples who have booked us to cater their big day get to taste more of our food and see the team in action in a real event situation.
So what was on the menu?
The theme was ‘That’s so Thomas’ – some of our all time favourites with a twist:
Chicken liver parfait, fruit chutney & raisin bread
Beetroot and goats cheese arancini
Steak wrapped chip, tarragon mayonnaise
Fish cake & tartar sauce

The Ultimate Lemon meringue
