Our pop-up restaurant was back in Thrussington

Thomas the Caterer returned to Thrussington Village Store and Tea Rooms with our pop-up restaurant this month. What an amazing night. The menu this time was spice themed and we showcased a funky array of fabulous tasting dishes. From cauliflower with hazelnut  pesto and cumin spiced partridge to plum in star anise – the flavours certainly spiced up the plates on a cold January night.

We love working at Thrussington Village Store and Tearooms – A fantastic venue and a lovely crowd. The next Supper club will be on the 23rd February, is al about the pie this time!!!

Tasting menu themed on spice

Roasted cauliflower Ras el hanout hazelnut pesto.

Haloumi & spinach fritters, caraway yoghurt

Chicken liver, parfait red cabbage puree, apple chutney and pumpernickel

Roast partridge in cumin, served with sprouts and parsnip

Plum and star anise. Crème fraiche and shortbread

Date and cinnamon pudding. Toffee sauce and mascarpone.
