Wowee What a Week! Thomas the Caterer was shortlisted for not one, but two awards and guess what? We only went and won both!!
We are absolutely over the moon to have been named Wedding Caterer of the Year 2017 for the East Midlands at the Wedding Industry Awards (retaining our title for a second year) and East Midlands Caterer of the Year 2016 at the English Wedding Awards.
The whole team are on cloud nine as we celebrate these fantastic wins. It truly makes all the hard work worth every minute. We are especially honoured and so thankful that so many of our brides and grooms have taken the time to cast their vote for us including submitting detailed feedback which we can’t wait to read. We have to wait until January to see our scores as we are now National Finalists so are heading to London next year to represent the East Midlands against some stiff competition…eeekkk!
What was even more awesome was to celebrate wins with so many of our industry friends, in particular Lynn, Richard and the amazing team at Bawdon Lodge Farm who were voted Wedding Event Team of the Year and Jodie, Craig and team Sami Tipi who were crowned Wedding Marquee Provider of the Year for the East Midlands. Working with both of these teams regularly, we know first hand how tirelessly they work to go above and beyond to give their brides and grooms the best possible wedding day and it was the icing on the cake to see them win their awards too.
